This article is meant to cover the third party license agreement necessary for Partners looking to upgrade their devices to Ubuntu 16.04.

After the upgrade completes, your Datto appliance will reboot.

To authorize Datto Technical Support to proceed with the 16.04 update, please complete and paste the following statement in your ticket:

At the request of the Datto customer set forth below (“Partner”), and with Partner’s authorization which is hereby given on behalf of Partner and the affected clients of Partner, Datto may assist Partner in upgrading the Datto software on the Datto devices listed on Exhibit A (made a part hereof by reference) (the “Devices”) from version 12.04 to version 16.04, as well as any future upgrades. Partner acknowledges that to perform the upgrade(s), Datto may install third party software and drivers, and hereby authorizes Datto to perform such installations. Nothing herein shall limit or restrict or otherwise modify the applicability of the agreements between Partner and Datto, including the Reseller Agreement and Datto’s product terms of use, which shall remain in full force and effect.
