How do I transfer ownership of an access point to a new account or new network?

This article discusses the two methods for transferring ownership of an Access Point (AP).

Moving to another network under the same account

To transfer the AP to a different network under the control of the same master account, first open your master account in Datto Networking. and go to: Manage > Access Points > List View > Actions drop-down > select Move to Network. You can then select the new network.

Moving to an entirely different master account

To move an access point to an entirely different master account, you first need to delete it from the network it is currently associated with, and then add it to the new network within the new master account.

In Datto Networking, go to: Manage > Access Points > List View > Actions drop-down > Delete. Once deleted, add the AP to the new network as normal.
