How can I view the registration date of my appliance?
You can view device registration on the BCDR Status page of the Datto Partner Portal.
1. In the Datto Partner Portal, click the Status tab, then select BCDR Status from the drop-down menu.
2. Click the device name. The registration date is in the Billing card on the Device Overview page, under the Warranty and Upgrade heading.
How can I tell when my warranty expires?
You can view warranty information in the Billing card on the Device Status page.
1. In the Partner Portal, click the Status tab, then select BCDR Status from the drop-down menu.
2. Click the device name. The warranty expiration date is in the Billing section of the Device Overview page, under the Warranty and Upgrade heading.
Will I get an alert about my warranty expiring?
There are no warranty expiration alerts at this time.
If my device gets replaced, will my warranty remain the same, or will it add on?
If you replace a Datto appliance while it is under warranty, the new device keeps the original expiration date of the machine it is replacing.
Will my device still function normally after my warranty expires?
Your device will continue to function normally after the warranty period. You will only lose functionality if you discontinue your service plan. To replace components after your warranty expires, contact your Datto Sales Executive.
