Why are my Gmail backup jobs running but bringing 0 records over?

A majority of Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection for Google Apps customers have their Gmail services backed up using the REST API.

A small number of Gmail services are still being backed up using IMAP. If that's the case, IMAP access must be enabled and must be configured to access the ‘All Mail’ label in your Gmail account. To confirm whether or your domain is using IMAP or REST API to backup Gmail, contact Support.

If we're using IMAP, we're grabbing all records stored under the ‘All Mail’ in Gmail. If no records are being backed up for your Gmail service then please check the following:

1) Log on to your Gmail account and on the list of labels on the left, you should have a label called 'All Mail' (you may need to expand the 'more' section of the labels). Please click that label, verify that there are emails within that label.
2) Do you have IMAP disabled?
- Log on to your Gmail account and go to your 'Mail Settings'
- In your Mail Settings, select the section 'Forwarding and POP/IMAP'
- Now, in the "IMAP Access" section, what does the '1. Status:' field say?  IMAP needs to be enabled here in order to run backup jobs successfully
3) Any Advanced IMAP Controls enabled?
- Log on to your Gmail account and go to your 'Mail Settings'
- In your Mail Settings, select the section 'Labels', for the 'All Mail' label, is "Show in IMAP" checked our unchecked? ‘Show in IMAP’ needs to be checked for the ‘All Mail’ label in order to run backup jobs successfully

4) Please make sure the user is in an OU that has Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection enabled. If the user is part of an OU that does not have Backupify enabled then we will not be able to back up the user's gmail data.
