How do I view Google Contacts exports locally in a contact manager?


Viewing all the Contacts from your archives back in to a Google account is easy. The export that we provide you with contains your backed up Google Contacts records in a VCF file format. To view your Contacts exports in a local contact manager:

Importing a VCF file into Mac Address book
1) On the File Menu, click Import
2) Locate the folder that contains the file you want to import
3) Click Import

Importing a VCF file in to Outlook
1) On the File menu, click Import And Export
2) Click to select the Import a vCard file (*.vcf) check box, and then click Next
3) Click to select the vCard file, and then click Open
