Who can access the Audit Log?
Only account admins have access to the audit log.
What is tracked in the Audit Log?
The audit log tracks all user activity on the account. This includes tracking the following types of events:
Full Service Restore
Full Service Export
User(s) added to/removed from backup
Services removed from backup
Backup Now triggered
Change to Domain Settings
Change to Billing Information
Sub-Domain Added for Backup
Item Detail Page Viewed
Login \ Logout (explicit)
Salesforce API limit change
Is there a limit to the time period tracked in the log file?
Currently, there is no time limit on the actions tracked in the log file. The log started tracking user actions as of November 15th at 3PM ET.
What user properties are tracked for each event?
We log the following information for each event:
Action Type (see list of actions tracked)
Username for the user who performed the action
Service name (Google Apps, GMail, Google Drive, Salesforce, etc)
Day and time the change was committed (UTC timestamp)
Where can I access the Audit Log?
You can access the Audit Log (.csv) for your account by going to the Account menu, and then clicking “Download” in the “Admin Activity Log” section on the right side of the screen.
What application plans support Audit Log functionality?
Audit Log functionality is only available for the Google Apps Professional, Enterprise, and Enterprise+ plans as well as our Salesforce product.
How often do my logs update?
Your log history will update instantly whenever a user has activity on their SaaS Protection/Backupify account. When you download your audit history, it will include everything up to the moment you choose to download the file.
