What are the possible Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection for Google Apps backup statuses, and what do they mean?

Backup is currently in progress.


Backup completed but there was an issue(s). For Gmail, we can hit the 1.5 GB daily limit, mostly during initial backups, causing a partial backup. We can also see other errors when retrieving data for other services, which would cause some of the data not to be backed up. We will try again on the next backup to fetch the missing data.

When a service has a partial backup status, this usually indicates that 2 to 3 files are failing to back up due to Google incompatibility issues. If you contact Support, we can have our Engineers determine exactly which files are failing to back up on any given service. 

In a future version of Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection, we hope to be able to display this information directly in the application!


Backups are not running for this service. A notification for the service should be viewable in the notifications area that provides details as to how to resolve the issue. Most often, the service needs to be reauthorized or IMAP needs to be configured.
