How do I view Google Calendar exports in a local calendar program?

Viewing you exported Calendar files in a local calendar program is easy. The export that we provide you with contains your backed up Google Calendar records in the ICS file format and we provide you with an ICS file for each Calendar that you have in your Google Calendar archives. To view your Calendar exports in a local calendar program:

Import an ICS file into Mac Calendar
1) On the File Menu, click Import
2) Locate the folder that contains the file you want to import
3) Click Import

Import an ICS file into Outlook Calendar
1) On the File menu, click Import and Export
2) Click Import an iCalendar or vCalendar file (.vcs), then click Next
3) Locate the folder that contains the file you want to import
4) In the Files Type list, choose either iCalendar Format or vCalendar Format
5) Click OK
