 How do I update the Administrator user on my Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection for G Suite account?

Overview

This article discusses transferring Primary Administrator rights in Backupify for Google Apps. See this article for for assistance with creating non-primary level admin accounts.

Prerequisites

  • The new Primary Administrator must be a super admin in Google Apps for your domain. Click here for information on assigning super admin privileges in G-Suite (external link)
  • You must add the new Primary Administrator to your Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection for Google Apps domain account
  • The new Primary Administrator must log in at least once

Procedure

Backupify technical support must process the Primary Administrator user change. Check the prerequisites above, then create a new support request requesting the rights transfer to the new user. Specify the username for the new Admin in the request.
