How do I update the administrator user on my Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection for Google Apps account?

Scope

 This article discusses transferring Administrator rights in Backupify for Google Apps.

Prerequisites

  • The new admin user must be a super admin in Google Apps for your domain. Click here for information on assigning super admin privileges in G-Suite (external link)
  • You must add the new admin user to your Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection for Google Apps domain account
  • The new admin user must log in at least once

Procedure

Backupify technical support must process the Administrator user change. Check the prerequisites above, then create a new support request requesting the rights transfer to the new user. Specify the username for the new Admin in the request.
