Why I am receiving a "Server Authentication Failed" error when logging in?


When you receive a "Server Authentication Failed" error when trying to login to Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection for Google Apps via the 'Login with Google' button on our main login page it typically indicates that API Access has not been enabled for your domain. To enable API Access please follow these steps:

  1. Access your Google Apps Admin Dashboard
  2. Go to 'Security' --> 'API Reference'
  3. Make sure the 'Enable API Access' box is checked
