This article explains how to navigate the Status and Recovery dashboard in Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection for Office 365.

Description

The Datto SaaS Protection/Backupify for Office 365 dashboard contains the O365 Overview and includes summaries of the Account and Backups information, as well as the total protected data.  The Status option in the top banner will return you to this page from anywhere in the application.  

You can access the backups for your users, Sites, and Teams from the Backups or by clicking the Recovery dropdown menu and selecting the service needed.  You can add, remove, and manage your UsersSites, and Teams from the Seat Management option.

The SaaS Backup Status page of the Datto Partner Portal will only allow access to 1 client at a time. To manage another customer, log in and out of each client before accessing another.

OneDrive

OneDrive backs up the files you sync and share via Microsoft's OneDrive platform. On the main OneDrive Recovery screen, you can click:

  • Users to view the user's name, email, last backup information, and storage totals.
  • Search to run account-wide searches in all OneDrive backups. For further information searching your OneDrive backups, click here.
  • Exports to view exports performed on your OneDrive data. For further information on exporting your user's OneDrive data, click here.
  • Restores to view restores performed on your OneDrive data. For further information restoring your user's OneDrive data, click here.

Click a user's email in the list to perform a more granular search, restore, or export of the OneDrive account. Click Status to return to the main dashboard.

Exchange

Exchange backs up user email on Microsoft Exchange Online. On the main Exchange screen, you can click:

  • Users to view the user's name, email, last backup information, and storage totals.
  • Search to run account-wide searches in all Exchange backups. For further information searching your Exchange backups, click here.
  • Exports to view exports performed on your Exchange data. For further information on exporting your user's Exchange data, click here.
  • Restores to view restores performed on your Exchange data. For further information for further information on restoring your user's Exchange data, click here.

Click an individual user in the list to perform a more granular search, restore, or export of protected email. Click Status to return to the main dashboard.

SharePoint

SharePoint backs up sites and site data created in Microsoft SharePoint. These backups are found in SharePoint Recovery

  • Sites to view the Sites backed up.  For further information on Site Management, click here.
  • Search to run account-wide searches in all SharePoint backups. For further information on searching your SharePoint backups, click here.
  • Exports to view exports performed on your SharePoint data. For further information exporting your SharePoint data, click here.
  • Restores to view restores performed on your SharePoint data. For further information on restoring your SharePoint data, click here.

Microsoft Teams

Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection backs up the Teams Content, Teams Conversations, and Teams Calendars from public channels created in Microsoft Teams. These backups are found in Teams Recovery

  • Teams to view the Teamsbacked up.  For further information on Teams Management, click here.
  • Search to run account-wide searches in all SharePoint backups. For further information on searching your Teams backups, click here.
  • Exports to view exports performed on your SharePoint data. For further information on exporting your Teams data, click here.
  • Restores to view restores performed on your SharePoint data. For further information on restoring your Teams data, click here.

User seat management

In the top menu, click the Seat Management tab, then select Users from the drop-down menu. For more information on managing Usersclick here.
