The SaaS Protection/Backupify for Office 365 application provides the ability to manage a single customer at one time. If you are managing multiple customers, you will need to log in and out of the application to switch between customers.
The homepage of SaaS Protection/Backupify for Office 365 is the Dashboard. It contains the the current activity summary, the activity feed, and a search box that allows you to select users to manage.
The activity summary provides a macro-level summary of the major activities that are happening in the system. It shows the number of users that are actively being backed up, restored or exported.
The activity feed provides a streaming view of events as they occur in the system. Since activities such as restores or exports can take a while to complete, the activity feed informs the user as they are kicked off or completed. In the case of exports, the activity feed also provides the link to the export zip file.
The search box provides the ability to search for users in the system that have been backed up in order to manage their account. As you begin typing, the system auto-suggests users that match. This search box is only to identify an individual account, not the actual email or calendar item.
Once you select a user, you are brought to the mail list for the user. Just as in Exchange, you can navigate through a nested folder structure in order to find specific mail messages. You can search for mail message by a number of fields including keyword, recipient sender, date range, subject or if the mail contains attachments.
The top of the page contains a controller that allows you to switch between OneDrive, Contacts, Mail, and Calendar.
OneDrive backs up the files you sync and share via Microsoft's platform. Under the Folders section in the left pane, you can navigate through your shared file structure, and then click a file in the Items section to bring up metadata about it. You can also use the search bar in the upper right to find an item based on keyword, file name, parent folder name, and more.
Users can have multiple calendars. You can search for calendar events by a number of fields including keyword, organizer, participant, date range, subject or if the event contains attachments.
You can click on any Office 365 item to view a brief summary.
The summary also provides a link to preview the full message or event content. Please note that all styling is removed from the preview. Only text and images are displayed.
