Scope

This article provides the layout and hardware specifications for Datto's SIRIS 2 Enterprise appliances.

Device Layout

This description applies to the following models:

  • SIRIS 2 Enterprise 5000 (SE5000)
  • SIRIS 2 Enterprise 10000 (SE10000)

Power Consumption Note: Datto Devices in the SIRIS Enterprise form factor consume a maximum of 1840 Watts because of the standard, dual redundant power supplies.

Working with Hardware

Opening the Chassis

To open the chassis, press down the two tabs on the top of the device and slide the top cover towards the back of the device.  Then pull up the back of the cover towards the ceiling.

 

* Remove a fan by pinching the tab near the indented side of the frame inwards towards the fan's body.
