If you have clients in areas prone to infrastructure disruption, visit the Disaster Recovery Resources guide for preparedness information. Datto recommends performing proactive disaster recovery testing to mitigate potential downtime. Backupify for Salesforce Known Issues & Limitations

  • Our Backups currently are not designed to perform incremental backups. More specifically if our system detects a change in just a single record within an object, our system attempts to backup the entire object again.
    • The lack of an incremental backup leads to issues backing up larger salesforce instances (accounts with >100 GB of Data). This has caused some significant pain with some our larger customers

  • You cannot pick and choose which objects to backup using our product

  • Custom object restore is not currently available

  • Our restores are not relational

  • Partial Backups not due to API limit errors
    • I have seen these types of situations resolved by disabling the backup and having the customer log in and re-authorize. I think the theory it that sometimes there are issues with the authentication key that SF provides. Re-authorizing the service
