Checking the Status of a RoundTrip



This article describes the process to check the status of one or more RoundTrip drives.


Depending on preference, a RoundTrip status can be checked on a single particular device or if there are multiple out, they can be checked as a bunch.

View the Status of All Pending RoundTrips

To view the statuses of all pending RoundTrips, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Partner Portal.

2. Click the Devices menu, and then click RoundTrip.

Here will list all pending RoundTrips. The list is divided into the following sections (Figure 1):

  • Overdue RoundTrips
  • RoundTrips Shipped to You
  • Pending RoundTrip Requests

3. Click the Drive Name to show a detailed drop down menu with the detailed status of the Round Trip drive (Figure 5).

4. To see who requested the RoundTrip, click on the person icon  in the Requester column.

5. Click the numbers in the Tracking columns to check the FedEx tracking of the RoundTrips.

6. To see the address that Datto sent the RoundTrip to, click on the tag icon  in the Address column.


View the Status of a Single RoundTrip

To check the status of a RoundTrip drive, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Partner Portal.

2. Click the Devices menu, and then click Status, as shown in Figure 1.

3. Here will show a list of the current devices under the account. Scroll to the device for which the RoundTrip was ordered for. Then, click on it.

4. On the left side, there will be the Device information. Click on the RoundTrip tab (Figure 2).

5. Click on the Drive Name in the Order History list. For a RoundTrip that has recently been requested, a display will appear as shown in Figure 3.

6. For a RoundTrip that has completed, the information will be as shown in Figure 4.
