Partner Portal - Powering Off a Datto Device

Scope

This article explains how to power off a Datto device through the Partner Portal.

Once the device is powered off, you will need to physically turn it back on. There is no task that powers on the device.

Procedure

1. Log into the Datto Partner Portal, select Devices, then select Status 2.0 from the drop-down menu

2. Click the name of the device from the list, or find the device name via the search box in the upper right.

3. Click Assign a new task under the Task Queue in the Device Overview card, .

4. From the drop-down menu, select poweroff, then click Assign.

The Datto appliance will then shut down, and must be manually restarted.
