SIRIS Network Attached Storage: Connecting to NAS Shares

Scope

This article explains the different methods you can use to connect to and use SIRIS NAS Shares. This article does not apply to SIRIS iSCSI shares.

Process

There are several protocols you can use to access SIRIS NAS shares:

  • File Transfer Protocol (FTP)
  • Apple Filing Protocol (AFP)
  • Network File System (NFS)
  • Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP)

You can enable these access methods in the SIRIS web interface. Go to File Share, and click Network Attached Storage. Scroll to the share you want to use.

For every enabled protocol, you will see the information you need to connect to your share. To use the Web, click on the Web File Browser link.
