Adding Additional LANs to your DNA

By default, your DNA comes configured with NIC Port 1 assigned as Primary WAN, NIC Port 2 is assigned as secondary WAN, and ports 2-6 are assigned to the Default LAN. You can configure ports 3-6 to their own LAN settings to meet your LAN management needs. This article discusses the process for configuring up to four LANs on your DNA.

To add additional LANs:

  1. Log into the DNA web interface

  2. Choose the Manage tab and click the Add LAN option from the left pane. This adds a new LAN Configuration card to the appliance that your browser will automatically scroll to.

Each LAN Port can be configured for individual LANs, or you have the option of assigning multiple Ports to one LAN.

  3. Enter all relevant information. When finished, click Save Changes. The new LAN Network will be listed in the Configured Networks sidebar to the left.

If you are unable to select a port, ensure it is not being used on the Primary LAN configuration card.

Repeat these steps for each additional new LAN.
