Can I have more than one administrator on our SaaS Protection/Backupify account?


Multiple administrator support is available to SaaS Protection/Backupify for Google Apps customers on our Enterprise and Enterprise Plus Google Apps plan types. Our Professional Google Apps plan type does not allow for multiple admins. To find out more information on our enterprise accounts, please visit this page.

How can I add an additional administrator to my account?

To add an additional admin, sign into your SaaS Protection/Backupify account and click the settings icon in the header then choose 'account settings'. When the settings page loads, click the ‘admin roles’ tab. From there you can search the user that you want to make an additional admin and then click '+ Make Admin'; that will add them as an admin. This feature is only available to accounts on the Enterprise and Enterprise Plus price plans, and not our Professional price plan. If you would like to upgrade your domain to get this feature, please contact Support.

Who can add additional administrators to my account?

Only the primary admin can configure additional admins for your SaaS Protection/Backupify account.

Is there a limit on the amount of additional administrators that I can have?

There is no limit on the number of additional admins that can be added.

How do I remove a user from being an administrator ?

You can remove admin users by clicking the ‘remove’ link beside any current admin user’s name in your list of additional admins.

What can additional administrators do?

Items: view content, view metadata, search metadata, download, and restore
Full Service: Restores and Exports
Backups: view history, trigger a backup now
Users: add, remove, view audit log

Can I make a subdomain user an additional administrator?
