How do I access Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection for G Suite if Google is down?

Normally, users log into Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection for Google Apps via the Log In Using Google button on the main login page. This login method does not work if your machine cannot reach Google. In cases where Google is inaccessible (or if you've lost access to your G Suite account), Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection for G Suite lets you use a separate username and password to access the site.
Creating a password
If you originally set up a trial with Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection, you have already created this manual password. If you already created a password, but do not remember it, you can reset it here.
For any other scenario, you can set up this password using the steps below:
- Click the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner of the dashboard.
- Navigate to Account Settings.
- Select Change Password.
- Enter your new password and click Save.
Who can use this method?
Any user that logs in to the application, whether they are an Administrator or an End User/Child User, can set up these passwords.
On the main login page, enter your G Suite username and the password in the designated fields, then click the Log In button.
