How do SaaS Protection/Backupify backups work?


SaaS Protection/Backupify runs incremental backups, meaning that the initial backup job for the service is a full backup of all records available for that service. After that, all subsequent backups bring over only data that was created or modified since the last backup completed.

How often will my backups occur with increased backup frequency?

On our Google Apps Enterprise plan, your backups will increase to every 8 hours opposed to the professional plan that occurred ever 24 hours. A backup will run for every user on your domain 3 times a day automatically. You will still have the ability to force a manual backup, however this button will not be available if a backup is currently in progress.
