Why does the data storage amount in my Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection quota bar differ from what the service (i.e. Gmail) reports as total data used?


We encrypt every record that is backed up by our service. Encrypting the file modifies the size of the file and therefore will not mirror the exact data total reported from the service.
