How does sharing work in relation to subfolders when folders are shared from a top level folder?

Subfolders that were shared out from a top level folder will inherit the same permissions given to the top level folder. Currently, we have no way to set other restrictive permissions on any subfolder when the top level folder was given particular permissions. If you have a subfolder that requires permissions that do not meet your needs while the top level folder must be shared out, you will need to move this folder out of the parent top level folder.
