Backupify for Social Media
Backupify for Facebook Fan Pages
Backupify for Twitter
How long will Datto continue backing up these services?
Backups for these products will be stopping as of October 25th, 2016.
Will I continue to be billed?
All active subscriptions under this discontinuation will be cancelled on October 25th, 2016.
How long will Datto archive this data within my account?
You will have the option to export this data from your account until December 31st, 2016.
I'm having an issue with an aspect of the product. How can Datto help?
Along with our 'end-of-service' event, we will no longer be committing resources to resolve any outstanding issues with the backup, restore, or export functionality of these products, and no future work will be done to improve the platform. If you are having trouble exporting any data from these services, our Support team may be able to provide a custom export of the data.
What is Labs?
Labs is the term Datto has used internally and externally to describe our Dropbox, Box, and Smartsheet products. Any future backup services we may have rolled out would have also fallen under this 'moniker'. Labs may have also been referred to externally as 'Pegasus' as well.
I need Facebook Fan Page backups for compliance reasons. What are my options moving forward?
Once we collect the final backup of your Facebook Fan Page service on October 24th, no further backups will be taken, and you may be out of compliance. We would recommend exporting your backup from Backupify at that time and/or access the data between now and February 1st, 2017.
Frostbox appears to be a great option for Facebook backups. No personnel on our end have used it extensively, so we wouldn't be able to confidently endorse it, but the service appears to have roughly the same functionality as our Facebook backup service.
Does Datto have plans to roll out new Labs or Social Media backup services?
Anything is possible! If enough interest is recorded for a new Facebook, Box, etc. backup platform, we could place the future product on our 'product roadmap'. Let us know what products you're interested in here.
Does Datto have plans to back up any other SaaS apps?

What other backup services does Datto offer?

Do you recommend any other backup products for these discontinued Backupify products?
Unfortunately, we have been unable to find any backup products that we would recommend to customers at this time.
I thought you discontinued this product. Why am I still being charged for it?
If you have a Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection for Google Apps service (like a personal Gmail.com backup) still running, we will not be cancelling your subscription and/or disabling your account.
