ConnectWise: How Do I Specify Security Permissions?

How do I specify security permissions in Connectwise?

  • ConnectWise 2.0

The new ConnectWise 2.0 integration allows users to specify security roles and permissions on a more granular level than was previously available in the SOAP API.

Setting security permissions

To set permissions, choose System from the ConnectWise Admin page, then click Security Roles and choose the + icon to create a new role. Name the new role Datto.

Figure 1: Security roles

Datto recommends creating a Datto-specific security role for setting permissions and administrating security.  Set modules and permissions according to the following table:

  Configurations All All None All
