How do I specify security permissions in ConnectWise?

The new ConnectWise 2.0 integration allows users to specify security roles and permissions on a more granular level than was previously available in the SOAP API.
Setting security permissions
To set permissions, choose System from the ConnectWise Admin page, and then click Security Roles and choose the + icon to create a new role. Name the new role Datto.

Datto recommends creating a Datto-specific security role for setting permissions and administrating security. Set modules and permissions according to the following table:

As a Partner, you have the option to prevent the API from accessing encrypted ConnectWise passwords for other configuration types, as the Datto integration does not require this access. To do so, navigate to System → Security Roles → Companies → Configuration → Customize. In the Update Security window, add your Datto Device configuration type to the Allow Access to these category. See Figure 2 for an example.
