Cloud Continuity for PCs: "Error - There was a problem starting the restore"



When you try to start a cloud file restore or cloud virtualization for a system protected by the Datto Cloud Continuity for PCs Agent, you see the message, "Error - There was a problem starting the restore. Please try again."


  • Datto Cloud Continuity for PCs 


A file restore or virtualization is already mounted for the protected system.


You can only have one restore mounted at a time for systems protected by the Cloud Continuity Agent. Remove any existing restores, and then attempt to create a virtualization or file restore again.

If the issue persists, contact Datto Technical Support for assistance.
