Partner Portal: Suspicious Activity Detected Emails



You receive an email from Datto with the following message:

 "Datto has detected that someone is attempting to use your Datto Account without your knowledge. Recent activity on your account may have occurred from a suspicious location or under circumstances that may be different than usual."

If Datto detects suspicious activity on your account, you will get a warning email offering next steps to secure the account.

What is considered suspicious activity?

Datto will automatically send the Suspicious Activity email if your account is accessed from an unrecognized IP address. 

What to do next

If you know the activity on your account was legitimate, there is no need for further action. Otherwise, click the Reset your password button in the email. You will then be taken to the password reset screen.
