  • Resolved an issue where D200s could rarely be stuck in LTE failover after booting
  • Resolved an issue where OpenVPN connections would rarely create invalid routes
  • Resolved an issue where the status LED would not update correctly when failing over to LTE with PPPoE WAN connections

Known Issue

  • LTE failover may be intermittent in Australia

1.2.2 - April 30, 2019

Improvements

  • Improved LTE failover behavior to help increase reliability, speed, and robustness

Bug fixes

  • Resolved an issue where sometimes reset button presses wouldn't register correctly.
  • Resolved an issue where port forward rules with more than one WAN IP would cause the router to stop checking in.
  • Resolved an issue where Static WAN PPPoE configurations using the local configuration wizard were not working as intended.
  • Resolved an issue where LTE failover would occur despite having a stable WAN connection
  • Disabled firewall component SIP ALG to resolve complications with certain VoIP services

Known issues

  • The setting for enabling NAT hairpinning is currently nonfunctional.
  • High numbers of client devices requesting DHCP at the same time may experience issues getting a lease.
  • Intra-LAN traffic is throttled based on WAN shaping configuration.
  • LTE IPs provided during failover may rarely conflict with other routing configurations if they share an IP range.
  • Incoming port configuration for Custom Traffic Policies doesn't work as expected
  • Datto is aware of a known issue which prevents the use of Custom Site-to-Site VPN on G200 routers. Learn more in our Custom Site-To-Site VPN Connections Unavailable article.

Known Issue - April 10, 2019

1.1.0 - January 23, 2019

Bug Fixes

  • Resolved an issue where a router operating on LTE failover could not resolve hosts if it used an unreachable DNS server.
  • Resolved an issue that prevented operators from saving static DNS server settings for router WAN interfaces.
  • Resolved an issue that prevented PPPoE WAN traffic tagged with a VLAN ID from offloading.
  • Resolved an issue that prolonged boot times for a router configured with one or more IPsec tunnels.
  • Resolved an issue where advanced DHCP options 42 (NTP server) and 66 (TFTP) malfunctioned unless if an operator enabled option 33 (static route).

Improvements

  • LTE functionality update for the D200 router to the shared G200/D200 firmware line.

1.0.8 - November 16, 2018

Fixed

  • Resolved an issue which caused devices to display an LED indicating that traffic wasn't being passed in scenarios where traffic was actually being passed.
  • Resolved an issue that prevented passing client traffic through IPSec VPN tunnels.

Known Issue

  • Setting a DNS server under Global Router Settings result in DNS queries being refused.

1.0.7 - November 2, 2018

New

Fixed

  • NAT hairpinning will function correctly even when the client is not on the same LAN as the server.

1.0.5  - June 5, 2018

New

  • Use ntp.cloudtrax.com for network time.
  • Additional DHCP options to enable/disable DHCP Server, and use Option 42,33 & 66.

Fixed

  • DHCP DNS servers appended to DNS server list, instead of replacing them.
  • Changed OpenVPN configuration to use lz4 compression instead of lzo. Please see:
  • DHCP pool range would always start at beginning of subnet, regardless of CloudTrax setting.
  • Static IP address wizard no longer worked after firmware upgrade.
