Datto Networking: Switches: Mounting Hardware

Follow

Topic

This article describes how to mount Datto switches using the included mounting hardware.

Environment

  • Datto Switches

Description

All Datto switches include the same mounting hardware. This article uses the E24 model as an example for all diagrams.

There are three sets of mounting hardware included in the switches' packaging:

Rack mount

Attach the included mounting brackets to the switch as shown in Figure 1, then secure the mounting brackets to the rack. The switch can be mounted in an EIA standard size (19") rack.

Desk or shelf mount

Apply the included rubber feet to the bottom corners of the switch as shown in Figure 2, and place on a flat, level surface.

Wall mount

Attach the included mounting brackets to the switch as shown in Figure 3, then mount to a wall with the ports either facing up or to the side. Ensure the wall anchors (not included) can support the weight of the switch and any cabling.
