How can I export mail, contacts, and calendars In Backupify Classic for G Suite?

Environment

  • Datto SaaS Protection Classic for G Suite
  • Backupify Classic for G Suite

Answer

An Export will generate a direct download link containing service data, and email it to a recipient.

  • If you are an end user, performing an export will send the email to the Super Administrator of the Backupify account.
  • If you are a Super Administrator or General Administrator, performing an export send the email to your configured address as it appears in Settings → Admin → Users List.

Exporting individual service items

Only a Super Administrator or General Administrator can export individual service items. To do so, follow these steps:

1. Search for the user whose data you would like to export data from.

2. Select the service you would like to restore (in this example, it is Mail).

3. Select the items you wish you export.

4. Click the Export button.

Exporting an entire service

1. Search for the user whose data you would like to export data from.

2. Select the checkbox in the Export column for the service you wish to export.

3. Click the Export Now button.
