Are you replacing a device? Don't call Support! Instead- migrateIt!

Did you know that you don’t have to contact Support for help with device migrations? On January 9, 2019, we released the Self-Service Device Migration feature as a component of Datto IRIS 3.81. This means that SIRIS, ALTO, and Datto NAS users can now initiate a device migration from the Advanced Device Status page of the Datto appliance without the need for Technical Support assistance!

It’s easy, only involves a few clicks to get started, and doesn’t require you to provide us with any special permissions in writing before the process can begin. If you have field technicians who regularly perform device migrations for your organization, before contacting Support, encourage them to search for keyword migrateIt at kb.datto.com - we’re confident they’ll like the ease and simplicity that this new feature provides.
