Legacy Open Mesh: How do I disable the LED(s) On My Datto Access Point?

Follow

Question

How do I disable the LED(s) on my Datto Access Point?

Environment

  • Datto Access Points

Answer

With 6.3 firmware and later, you'll now have the option to turn off the LED(s) across all APs within a network.

This toggle is found under Configure -> Advanced -> Miscellaneous and will apply within 1-2 minutes of being enabled/disabled if your AP is online and actively checking in. If you're on 6.2 firmware and earlier, this toggle will not be made visible.

All models are supported, however please note that MR600 and OM5P-AC cannot disable their ethernet LEDs (which should only apply if in a gateway position).
