I'm having speed problems! What's wrong?

When performing speed tests please keep the following guidelines in mind:

1. Make sure there are no other users on the network at the time of the test. Speed test results will only display the available bandwidth that remains after other users and their devices have used it up.

2. Make sure that you are running in a channel space that is not causing interferences. Channels 1, 6, and 11 are generally all good choices. This may not always be the case however. You can use the site-survey tool within CloudTrax to determine the best wireless channel for your network.

3.  If you are experiencing severe wireless speed problems, wire your device into the OM2P node and re-perform the test. If you achieve a similar result, you can narrow down the problem to a different network issue.
