Today, March 3, 2015, Open-Mesh Inc. is announcing the End of Life for Robin firmware.

All access points Open-Mesh previously shipped with Robin (pre-NG) firmware installed, including the OM1P and MR500, are capable of running newer, supported firmware versions. Customers are encouraged to upgrade devices currently running Robin firmware to fw-ng-481 through the CloudTrax dashboard.

Access points running Robin firmware will no longer check in to the CloudTrax dashboard as of March 11, 2016. Devices must be upgraded before that date to continue to function normally. After that date, access points must be upgraded manually

Third party access points are not capable of running NG firmware, as official support for these devices was discontinued in 2011.
