Free level of service using a dual-button approach

You can provide a basic, free level of service using a dual-button approach on the same SSID.  The speed set for it uses the sliders on the SSID#1 tab.

You can then provide vouchers for a higher level of service.  You can leave the paypal button and the vouchers button and include text on the splash page that tells people they can use paypal or call the front desk to receive a voucher and add it to the room.

Users can always get back to the splash page by typing “http://logout” in the address bar of their browser.  If you use this feature, it is good to note it in the splash page and perhaps a “how to use wifi” card in the room (or at least have your front desk people able to let guests know).  This will let them enter the voucher.  Once they do, they will be taken to the redirect URL that you entered in the SSID#1 tab.  This can be any page on your site, including one that informs them that they now have the higher speed.

Note:  It is important to enter a redirect URL in Cloudtrax as otherwise after they type “http://logout” and enter their voucher, they will just sit on that login page – there won’t be any indication that the voucher worked.
