Datto Partner Portal: Required billing updates for Datto partners



This article describes how to perform required updates to your billing information in the Datto Partner Portal.

Confirming your payment information in the Datto Partner Portal

1. In the Partner Portal, click the Purchasing & Billing tab, then choose Payment Methods from the drop-down menu.

2. Click the pencil icon next to the card you wish to edit.

3. Edit the card information. When finished, click the Update Card button.

Adding or updating a billing contact

1. Contact your Datto Sales Executive.

2. To add a user, give your Sales Executive the contact information for the person you'd like to add. If you are changing or removing an existing user, provide the existing user's information and details about the change you'd like to make.

3. Your Datto Sales Executive will update your account.

Adding a new payment method

Once you've added a payment method, you must link it to each subscription for it to take effect. See the "Linking subscriptions to your payment method" section below.

1. In the Partner Portal, click the Purchasing & Billing tab, then choose Payment Methods from the drop-down menu, as in Figure 1, above.

2. Click the Add Payment Method button.

3. Select your payment method and fill out your billing information, then click Submit.

Linking subscriptions to your payment method

1. In the Partner Portal, click the Purchasing & Billing tab, then choose Subscriptions from the drop-down menu.

2. There are thre tabs at the top of the Subscriptions page: Unified Continuity, SaaS Protection, and Datto Networking. Click each tab to find all your subscriptions.

3. The Payment Method column of the subscription list shows the payment type for each subscription. To change the payment method on a subscription, click the arrow in the rightmost column to expand the information, then click Change Payment Method and select the new payment method in the drop-down menu.
