Why do my backups say "Pending" when I click the Users tab in my account?

Environment

  • Backupify/Datto Saas Protection 2.0 for Office 365
  • Backupify/Datto Saas Protection 2.0 for G Suite

Answer

Backups report as "pending" in your account when you click the Users tab from the status page because your account is on our 2.0 platform.

Clicking the Users tab will bring you to our legacy platform. This UI will only report backups taking place on our 1.0 system.

To view backup information for your account, you will need view each service individually from the Saas Backup Status page on the Partner Portal, and search by user within the service.
