I have created a Recurring Service Contract with the wrong start date. How can I change the start date to the correct date?

Answer

Once a Recurring Service Contract generates with Services or Service Bundles on it, the Start Date becomes read-only. The Contract Start Date defines the billing periods of the services for which you are billing.

To edit the Start Date, remove the Services or Service Bundles from the Recurring Service Contract.

If some of the Service or Service Bundle periods are already approved for billing or are in an invoiced status, you will not be able to remove them from the Contract immediately. In this scenario, you must void the relevant invoices and un-post the applicable Service or Service Bundle periods to allow removal from the Contract.

Once you have deleted all of the Services or Service Bundles from the Contract, the Start Date will be editable again.
