Autotask PSA: Why is labor associated with an expired fixed price contract not showing up on my invoice?



Why is labor not showing up on my invoice? The ticket and time entries are associated with an expired Fixed Price contract.

Labor associated with a Fixed Price or Recurring Service Contract is considered covered by that contract even if the contract has already expired. Labor is not listed because Fixed Price and Recurring Service Contracts do not bill for labor individually, but consider labor to be covered by the contract if associated.

When saving the time entry, a dialog box warns users that the labor will be non-billable for this reason.

If you want to bill the customer for the labor, you need to remove the contract from the time entry before posting it for billing.
