Can we provide our end-client access to our database via the API?

Answer

API access grants full access to your database. There is no client API access.

Due to the security permissions required to access the Autotask API, Datto does not recommend configuring a custom security level. The default API User system security level provides access to all areas of Autotask PSA that are accessible via the API.
