This article provides a step-by-step guide on how you can download and unzip exports from Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection 1.0 for G Suite and Office 365.

Environment

  • Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection 1.0 for G Suite
  • Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection 1.0 for Office 365

Description

Download and Unzip Exports from Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection 1.0 for G Suite

1. Navigate to your Backupify/Datto Saas Protection 1.0 dashboard.

2. Search for the user whose contents you wish to export.

3. Select the product service(s) you wish to back up by checking the adjacent box and clicking EXPORT (Figure 3).

  • To back up the specific item(s) within a folder or collection under a particular service, click the product service, select the item you wish to back up, then click EXPORT (Figure 4).

Download and Unzip Exports from Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection 1.0 for Office 365

1. Navigate to your Backupify/Datto Saas Protection 1.0 dashboard.

2. Search for the user whose contents you wish to export in the search bar at the top.

3. Select a product service (AppType) from the dropdown menu.

4. Click Export at the top right of the page.

  • To back up the specific item(s) within a folder or collection under a particular service, check the box adjacent to the item you wish to back up, then click EXPORT at the top right.

Unzipping your exports

1. Locate the export you've downloaded. The export will most likely exist in your Downloads folder.

Sometimes WinZip cannot extract if the folder name is too long. If this occurs, try another tool such as 7-Zip.

2. Right-click the export, then click Extract All.

3. Set a destination for the files you are extracting, then click Extract.

  • Click Browse to set a destination.
  • Check the box labeled Show extracted files when complete to open the file location.
