This article provides a step-by-step guide on how you can download and unzip exports from Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection 2.0 for G Suite and Office 365.

Environment

  • Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection 2.0 for G Suite
  • Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection 2.0 for Office 365

Description

Download and Unzip Exports from Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection 2.0 for G Suite

1. Navigate to your Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection 2.0 backup status page, then click the desired service.

2. Click on the desired user to open up their account details and all of their existing files.

3. Select the file(s) you wish to back up by checking the adjacent box and clicking EXPORT.

  • To back up a specific item within a folder or collection, click the folder, select the item you wish to back up, then click EXPORT.

4. Select Selected Items, then click EXPORT.

  • To export a snapshot of all the backups at that time, select Snapshot.

5. Click the Exports tab to view and access all of your exports.

6. Find the export you wish to download, then click DOWNLOAD.

Download and Unzip Exports from Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection 2.0 for Office 365

1. Navigate to your Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection 2.0 backup status page, then click the desired service.

2. Click on the desired user to open up their account details and all of their existing files.

3. Select the file(s) you wish to back up by checking the adjacent box and clicking EXPORT.

  • To back up a specific item within a folder or collection, click the folder, select the item you wish to back up, then click EXPORT.

4. Select Selected Items, then click EXPORT.

  • To export a snapshot of all the backups at that time, select Snapshot.

5. Click the Exports tab to view and access all of your exports.

6. Find the export you wish to download, then click DOWNLOAD.

Unzipping your exports

1. Locate the export you've downloaded. The export will most likely exist in your Downloads folder.

Sometimes WinZip cannot extract if the folder name is too long. If this occurs, try another extracting tool such as 7-Zip.

2. Right-click the export, then click Extract All.

3. Set a destination for the files you are extracting, then click Extract.

  • Click Browse to set a destination.
  • Check the box labeled Show extracted files when complete to open the file location.

Mail Inbox format (MBOX)
