Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection for G Suite and Office 365: Error: 403

Issue

When attempting to perform a backup, you receive the error message, "UnknownAPIError."

Environment

  • Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection 1.0 for G Suite
  • Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection 2.0 for G Suite
  • Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection 1.0 for Office 365
  • Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection 2.0 for Office 365

Cause

The user does not have a license for G Suite or Office 365.

Resolution

You must license the user for G Suite or Office 365.
