Backupify 2.0 for G Suite: Adding administrators

This article explains how to add administrators to Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection. Use this article when changing SaaS user account permissions to Admin.

  • Backupify 2.0 for G Suite

Backupify account owners can log in with their G Suite credentials as long as Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection is backing up their email. Otherwise, account owners must log in with the password they created when setting up their Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection account.

You will need to add all other admin-status accounts via the Manage Administrators page in the Backupify application environment. Once added, they can log in with their credentials, or through the use of Google SSO (if their account is backed up).

Add an administrator

1. From the Backupify 2.0 Google Backup Status page, click the Admin tab, then select Manage Administrators from the drop-down menu.
