Backupify: "Password Reset Requested" email

Issue

You receive an email from noreply@datto.com with a message similar to the following: "Due to inactivity, your password has expired for your Backupify account. Please visit your Backupify account and select 'Forgot your password?' to reset your password."

Environment

  • Backupify for G Suite
  • Backupify for Office 365

Cause

If you have not logged into your account for 90 days, Backupify will send an email asking you to reset your password.

Resolution

1. Log into your Backupify account and click the Forgot your password? button to reset your password. See Backupify for G Suite and Office 365: How do I reset my Backupify password? for more information on password resets. If you need further assistance, contact Backupify Technical Support
