Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection: The service cancellation process for EMEA partners



This article describes the service cancellation process for partner-purchased Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection accounts in the EMEA region. Refer to this article to understand the process and timelines involved in canceling a Backupify or Datto SaaS Protection account.

Cancellation Procedure

To cancel a backupify/Datto SaaS Protection account, send a written cancellation request to your Datto Sales Executive. Your Sales Executive will then arrange for service cancellation with Datto's internal Billing and Technical Support departments. Allow 7-10 days for full account cancellation.

Data management after cancellation

Datto will hold backed-up Backupify and Datto SaaS Protection data for 45 days (Backupify 1.0) or 60 days (Backupify 2.0) after cancellation. You can recover any necessary data during this time. Datto purges the data after the hold period ends. To recover backed-up data during the hold period, contact Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection Technical Support.
