Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection: Version 8.2 user interface changes

The version 8.2 release for Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection 1.0 and 2.0 features a reorganized navigation bar in the user interface for faster, more intuitive navigation. We will soon update the current knowledge base articles to reflect the new interface. Use this article to assist with navigating the UI until we finish the article updates.

Environment

  • Backupify/Datto SaaS Protection for G Suite
  • Backupify/Datto Saas Protection for Office 365

Description

The redesigned user interface organizes better describes navigation elements and organizes them into logical categories.

You can navigate through the user interface by using the following tabs:

Service type (O365 or G Suite)

This tab will show as G Suite or O365, depending on the product suite you are protecting. Click this tab to cycle between modern 2.0 and classic views.

Status

The Status tab returns you to the main status page from any page within the user interface.

Recovery

Use this tab to select the service for which you wish to restore or export data. You can choose from the following services:

  • G Suite
    • Drive
    • Mail
    • Calendar
    • Contacts
  • Office 365
    • OneDrive
    • Exchange
    • SharePoint

Seat Management

The Seat Management tab lets you control seating and licensing settings for the following categories:

  • G Suite
    • Users
  • Office 365
    • Users
    • Mailboxes
    • Sites

Admin

Use this tab to control the following administrative functions:

  • Manage Administrators
  • Reporting
  • Settings

User

This tab lets you control:

  • User settings 
  • Login/Logout
