Periodically, Datto device administrators may wish to temporarily hide a device from the BCDR Status list in the Partner Portal. For example, you may want to hide a previously-deployed device until you can return it to service with a different customer. Hiding devices reduces visual clutter, making large device fleets easier to manage.
What happens when I hide a device?
When you hide a device, it no longer appears in the device list on the BCDR Status page.
Hiding a device
1. In the Datto Partner Portal, click the Admin tab, then select BCDR Status from the drop-down menu.
2. Scroll through the device list until you find the device you are hiding. Click the ellipsis icon in the upper right-hand corner of the Device card, then select Hide Device from the drop-down menu.
After hiding the device, you will no longer see its Device card in the Device Status list.
Unhiding a device
1. On the BCDR Device Status page, select the Show hidden devices only check box.
2. Scroll through the device list until you find the device you are hiding. Click the ellipsis icon in the upper right-hand corner of the device card, then select Unhide Device from the drop-down menu.
After unhiding the device, you will once again see its device card in the Device Status list.
